Shahaduzzaman is a Medical Anthropologist, currently working with Newcastle University, UK. He writes short stories, novels, and non-fiction. He has published 25 books, and his debut collection ‘Koyekti Bihbol Galpa’ (in which the story ‘Whatever the Wounds, Whatever the Damage’ first appeared) won the Mowla Brothers Literary Award in 1996.
