spring out of
the Yellowstone riverbed
of the Santa Fe aisle
your twins wait
for you here
come when the rains
will not stain your
lily-white shroud
where the sun
will not freeze
your blood
when our mirrors
will not catch
you nude
come
read us the lines in that ruddy rose
leaning in our sash
the chandeliers have
left our hall
come
take us back
where you sprang!
