Since 2011, Sabotage Reviews have been marking their birthday with a series of awards for “the publications/performances we’ve enjoyed most during the year.” Although the site’s mission was (initially, at least) to “celebrate the ephemeral”, the Saboteur Awards seem to be here to stay: they’ve become a key part of the British independent publishing scene, with occasional recognition for writers and publishers from further afield.
