It has been seventeen years
since my last confession
and I am considering waltzing into the nearest Catholic church
and admitting to a murder
that never occurred
Priests don’t have a binding contract
with the cops
but they do with their god
and I think most would cave
Not that I want to be questioned
let alone detained
but I think it’d be fun watching a bunch of cops
trying to prove a murder occurred that didn’t
and upon realizing there was no murder to be solved
trying to charge me with something else
just so they don’t waste their time
though all of their time is a waste
they don’t necessarily notice
and as far as I know
and I do sort of know
it’s perfectly legal
to lie to a priest
All this is to say
that there’s really not much going on right now
for me to tell anyone about
I need to make things up
It’s pretty difficult
to be a situationist
alone in a room
