Between February and April 2014, The Missing Slate conducted its first series of fiction writing workshops, under the tutelage of the magazine’s Editor-in-Chief Maryam Piracha. In twelve weeks, through peer review and weekly workshop presentations, participants were given a crash course on how to improve their craft. The pieces presented in this special web anthology vary in style and tone, but are inimitably the voices of the seven writers to whom they belong. We look forward to seeing our graduates go onward and upward from here.
